Esther Sierra began her artistic career when she won a teen
talent contest in her home town of H. Matamoros, Tamps.,
Mexico. Her talents then took her beyond the Mexican
Frontier onto an extraordinary journey. Together with the
"Mexican Folklore Ballet", they traveled to Canada, where
she would be greatly admired for her talent.
Esther not only had the honour to sing for the former Prime
Minister John Diefenbaker, but her gifts were able to obtain
a four month contract where she visited Peru and Ecuador.
Another encounter enabled her to travel to Aruba, Curazao
and Mexico.
While in Canada, she performed at the finest hotels such as
The Royal York, Sheraton, Sutton Place, and many more.
Esther has also participated in the National syndication of
the "OTI" Festival.
Since 1994, she has an annual participation in the Toronto
Harbourfront Festival for the Hispanic Celebrations and the
Canadian National Exhibition. She has also performed on well
known television stations, such as "City TV", "Tele Latino",
"Rogers Cable" and "Channel 47". Esther has become one of
the most respected and favoured Latin Singers, not only
among the Latin community but also with the Canadian public
who greatly admire Mexican folklore.
Esther, not forgotten in her home town, has also appeared on
television programs such as "Un Nuevo Dia" hosted by Cesar
Costa & Rebeca de Alba, and "Cable Club", hosted by Evelyn
LaPuente as well as being invited to Los Angeles to perform
on "La Hora Lunatica" hosted by Humberto Luna. She has also
appeared on famous Mexican radio stations such as "Radio
Red", "Radiolopis", and "Radio ABC". For this reason, she
had the privilege to perform at the prestigious "Jorge
Negrete" theatre in the distinguished tribute to the Late
Lola Beltran.
As a result of her various experiences and abilities, Esther
has priduced 2 CD's. The first produced in Canada entitled
"Canto a Mexico" and the second produced in Mexico entitled
