Esther
Sierra began her artistic career when she won a teen
talent contest in her home town of H. Matamoros, Tamps.,
Mexico. Her talents then took her beyond the Mexican Frontier
onto an extraordinary journey. Together with the "Mexican
Folklore Ballet", they traveled to Canada, where she would be
greatly admired for her talent.
Esther not
only had the honor to sing for the former Prime Minister John
Diefenbaker, but her gifts were able to obtain a four month
contract where she visited Peru and Ecuador. Since 1994, she
has an annual participation in the Toronto Harbourfront
Festival for the Hispanic Celebrations and the Canadian
National Exhibition.
